Your accountant sends a message: "Does our Sapo still connect to MISA?" You search online, find the line "Sapo no longer connects to MISA", and start thinking about switching software.
Hold on before you switch anything. Sapo's notice is much narrower than that line. From 1 April 2025, Sapo stopped making new connections with three e-invoice providers: MISA meInvoice, Viettel S-Invoice and M-invoice. Connections already in place keep running as normal. The notice is about e-invoices only; getting your orders from Sapo into MISA's accounting software is a different question.
A lot of answers online fold three jobs into one: e-invoicing, accounting software and order sync. Below we pull them apart, then give you a table for choosing a route in each situation.
What Sapo's MISA meInvoice notice says
We opened the notice on Sapo's site on 22 October 2026. The page reads "Cập nhật lần cuối: 28/03/2025" (last updated 28 March 2025). The two key paragraphs, in our translation:
From 1 April 2025, Sapo officially stops new connections and system integration with the following e-invoice providers: meInvoice e-invoices from MISA Joint Stock Company; S-Invoice e-invoices from Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group; M-invoice e-invoices from M-invoice Electronic Invoice Company Limited.
Customers currently connected to meInvoice, S-Invoice or M-invoice e-invoices continue to use them and carry out e-invoice operations as normal, without interruption.
The notice also points customers who need e-invoices to Sapo Invoice, and gives the hotline 1900 6750 for anyone who wants to change invoice provider.
Read it carefully and you notice three things it never mentions:
- MISA's accounting software: AMIS Kế toán (AMIS Accounting) and MISA SME.NET.
- Any halt to order sync from Sapo into other software.
- An end date for connections that already exist.
So "Sapo no longer connects to MISA" claims more than Sapo actually wrote.
Connecting Sapo with MISA covers three separate jobs
- E-invoicing. Issuing invoices to customers and sending them to the tax authority. This is where Sapo's notice sits: meInvoice is an invoice provider.
- Accounting software. Keeping the books, producing reports and tax returns. MISA has AMIS Kế toán and MISA SME.NET; Sapo has its own accounting software.
- Order sync. Moving orders, revenue and stock from where you sell to where you keep the books.
One business can use all three, each in a different piece of software. When someone says "connect Sapo with MISA", ask them to be specific: connect to issue invoices, to keep the books, or to move orders? The three answers lead to three different routes.
Which route to take now Sapo has ended new meInvoice connections
The table below is sorted by the situation you are in. The last column lists what to ask or check for yourself before you commit.
| Your situation | Route | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Connected to meInvoice before 1 April 2025 | Keep the existing connection. Sapo says invoice operations carry on as normal | Whether the connection still works. If it has been cut, ask Sapo whether it can be restored |
| No connection yet, and you need to issue invoices from Sapo | Use Sapo Invoice, Sapo's own e-invoice product, or pick another invoice provider and ask Sapo | Whether Sapo Invoice integrates with your Sapo plan. Cost is on Sapo's price list |
| You need books and tax returns | Sapo's accounting software. Its product page says sales, order and stock data sync into it | Your plan (hộ kinh doanh, or household business, versus company) and its terms of use |
| Your accountant already uses MISA AMIS Kế toán | Export orders from Sapo to Excel, then use AMIS's Nhập từ Excel (Import from Excel) feature. Works while order volume is low | Whether your Sapo can export the file. Whether column names and product codes match your AMIS item list |
| Medium or large business, many sales channels | Sapo's API (Sapo Enterprise API) or an integration partner | API access, data scope, who maintains it once it runs |
Six steps now Sapo has stopped new connections
- Work out which case you are in: connected to meInvoice before 1 April 2025, or in need of a new connection.
- Write down what you need: issuing invoices, keeping the books, moving orders, or all three.
- Call Sapo's customer care team (hotline 1900 6750, per the notice) and ask three questions: does your Sapo plan keep the existing meInvoice connection, is there any way to make a new one, and how does Sapo Invoice integrate with your plan.
- Ask your accountant which software they use for the books and what data they need from each order (invoice number, date, tax, customer).
- Pick a route from the table above and trial it on one day's orders before rolling it out for the whole month.
- At the end of the first month, reconcile revenue on both sides: the total on Sapo and the total in the books should be equal.
Example: a shop that sells on Sapo and keeps its books in MISA AMIS
The example below is hypothetical, for illustration only, and not taken from any real client.
A retail shop sells through Sapo and keeps its books in MISA AMIS Kế toán. It opened after April 2025, so it cannot set up a new meInvoice connection from Sapo. The owner splits the work into three parts:
- Invoices: ask Sapo about Sapo Invoice and compare it with the invoicing they use now.
- Bookkeeping: at the end of each day, export orders from Sapo to Excel; the accountant imports them into AMIS with the Nhập từ Excel feature and posts them.
- Reconciliation: compare total revenue in the file with the total posted to the books.
This works while daily orders are few. As orders grow, the export and re-import step becomes the most error-prone and time-consuming part of the day, and that is when automatic sync is worth considering.
When to bring in a Sapo and MISA integration partner
- You sell on several channels and re-enter orders by hand every day.
- Order volume is so high that your accountant cannot post them the same day.
- You need orders, stock and invoices all synced, and your current software has no ready-made connection for it.
- The figures on the two sides disagree and nobody knows at which step.
- Sapo or MISA tells you your plan does not support what you need.

Frequently asked questions
What should I do if my meInvoice connection on Sapo has been cut?
Sapo's notice says customers who connected meInvoice before 1 April 2025 keep using e-invoices as normal, and it gives no end date for those connections. If your meInvoice connection has been cut, call Sapo's hotline 1900 6750 and ask whether it can be restored. Get the answer in writing for the exact Sapo plan you use before you change invoice provider.
Why do Sapo and MISA pages still say there is a meInvoice connection?
Sapo's Enterprise API article still says Sapo Enterprise integrates with MISA meInvoice, and MISA meInvoice's page still lists Sapo among its connected sales software. We have not found any page that explains this mismatch with Sapo's notice about ending new connections. The pages may describe a different product, or they may not have been updated. The safest move is to ask Sapo in writing about the plan you use.
How do I get orders from Sapo into MISA AMIS Kế toán?
Sapo's e-invoice notice does not mention MISA's accounting software. While order volume is low, you can export orders from Sapo to Excel and import them into AMIS Kế toán with its Nhập từ Excel (Import from Excel) feature, provided your Sapo plan can export the file and your product codes match the AMIS item list. With high volume or many sales channels, the remaining route is Sapo's API (Sapo Enterprise API) or an integration partner.
Does Sapo have its own e-invoice software?
Yes, it is called Sapo Invoice, and Sapo's notice about ending new connections recommends it to customers who need e-invoices. Before switching, ask whether Sapo Invoice integrates with your current Sapo plan and check the cost on Sapo's price list. To change invoice provider, call the hotline 1900 6750 that Sapo gives in the notice.
